Schaefer uses high strength 6061-T6 aluminum extrusions and adds precise positive locking stainless steel fittings for strength where it's needed most. With oversized guy wires, these outriggers will survive the test of the big seas and big fish. Unlike competitors' hollow spreader tubing, Schaefer's solid tapered aluminum spreaders will endure the beating gear takes when running offshore in big seas. Where plastic spreader tips fail under load, Schaefer's solid stainless steel tips rotate to automatically adjust to load on the guy wires. With guy wires securely encapsulated in the tips, they stay put under any load.

Schaefer's 15-foot Redi-Rigger sportfishing kit includes everything you need for installation on center-console and cuddy-cabin boats up to 30 feet. Constructed of heavy-wall aluminum tubing mounted into investment cast stainless steel holders, the Redi-Rigger is strong enough to pull the largest artificial lures and rugged enough to withstand the constant pounding the sea dishes out. No-snag solid aluminum gold-anodized tips and top sliding ring are standard on the Redi-Riggers. The Redi-Rigger kit includes a pair of outriggers, mounts, complete rigging kit, mounting hardware and instructions, and can be shipped by UPS or FedEx.
